Just made my second batch of pizzas, think I've almost cracked it.

As a topping I used cheese sauce instead of tomato, followed by bits-o-bacon and topped with mozzarella & cheddar...fook me it was orgasmic!

I bought Tescos chicken burger packs last night because they were on deal and I couldn't see beef burgers, ******* hell they are tasty. I'm genuinely shocked at how fuckin good they are, chicken burgers are usually cardboard fail!

I'm not a fan of chicken breaded or battered. I do like chicken in my dishes like curry etc, and generally Iceland is aces for chicken.

Cheap stuff is hit and miss in my opinion Koops... I wouldn't agree that it generally sucks... I'd say it's 50/50. There are plenty of cheapo things I think are decent (not necessarily better than the expensive versions but certainly acceptable for the price) but then you get cheapo beef burgers (dog burgers) and certain other nasties.

I just thought id mention the love for the cheap, no proper meat in them hotdogs in a tin..... The ones i get have naff all pork inthem and are mostly mechanically recovered chicken.

Sounds horrible, but in a triple decker with some mustard and read sauce these things are awesome!

As for Chickeny bits... ASDAs KFC style bits from the chiller are nice... generally cant stand battered chicken other wise,

Turkey drummers despite their poor rep are also nice especially with some chilli dip and salad

Our local Tescos has stopped stocking its own brand chicken burgers, which is a shame as I liked them. The Birds Eye one are good though.
