Funnily enough, this was in the new Retro Gamer as an unconverted game (i.e. it never made it to home consoles)

Sorry for the delay in putting up the new week, I picked three or four other games but was having trouble getting them working.

Couple of quick tips.

Hold button 2 for longer jumps

Collect blue spheres to increase your weaponry, but avoid red spheres

Dude.. Ive always fancied a craic at this game its been on me games list had a few goes, but not really stuck at it....

How on eatrh do you beat that floaty thing cant hit it or anything well annoyed

The one with the eyeball? Here's what I do.

1. Head right, the monster will hover and shoot three blue shots at you, and move to the far left. Jump and shoot as it moves.
2. The monster will shoot its claw at you twice. Wait until it starts to extend, jump (hold the button) and shoot. The monster will now move into the middle.
3. Move to the far left, if you can get in a couple of shots between the monster's second volley of blue shots then do so. It will then move to the far right. Get in some more shots.
4. The monster will now shoot its claw twice again. Jump slightly before it extends, then you can crouch under it as it extends. Shoot back when you get the chance.
5. The cycle will repeat, until you have done enough damage. This will release the eye, which simply has to be shot until it explodes. It bounces rapidly, so time your run under it - I usually find it easier to kill it from the right hand side at floor level, shooting left

If you think that's tricky, wait till you meet the snake-headed boss at the end of level 1!

Improved my score to 516520, at the start of level 2.

Still cant do it... talk about a stupidly hard game d'oh!

Finally Beat that thing... and getting to the end of level boss is quite easy after that.

The boss would also be quite easy if the power ups didnt run out!!!!!!!!!

Theres no bar telling you when they stop... thats annoying
