Clearly I am NOT unbiased so I won't do anything other than ask the question, and add my views later.

Vote please and explain yo' choice.

No flaming (much)

I vote yes. I don't like RPGs so it is a measure of Fallout's greatness that it hooked me for a fair few hours.

It is epic in both it's scope and technical execution. The Fallout universe is well realised and consistent which makes the game immersive and compelling. Can be played in numerous ways to suit many different play styles and the amount of content you get for £40 is amazing.

Only negative from me is that I hate getting lost in the subways and the map is ****.

Big YES from me too. The PC version.

Fantastic atmospheric looks amazing and I actually go back to it and play still - unlike most games that get a go for a week and then sit on the HD doing F all!!

For me F3 combines some of the best elements from the best games of all time, 2 of which are already in the HoF! It's like a combination of Oblivion/Bioshock/Doom/Resident evil.

It has the engine (obviously) of Oliv but tweaked to offer so much more with VATS and the perk systems. It has a backstory and content better and more indepth than bioshock. When you are out at night or in a sewer system, the game is like a straight up survival horror. Of course when the big battles kick off you are talking doom stayle carnage and weapon style.

The character design and backstory is huge! You get to see all the nuances of each character you interact with - this coupled with the karma system as well as various perks make for a truly 'different everytime' opportunity.

This game is immense and as I have said before is equal to Oblivion in my gaming list.

I love it. Its brilliant.

You can probably ace the game in about 30 hours if you stuck to the main tasks ... or you could play it for 300 hours by exploring the huge area and side quests. Karma gives each quest at least 3 outcomes, hours and hours of replay value. Interesting items to collect and use. Excellent downloadable content (first time ever).

No other game has grabbed me like this has for a long time (since X-Com) so it really does need to go in.

Ste.
